I was fortunate enough to be at the game when Dave Winfield got his 3,000th hit off Dennis Eckersley at the Metrodome. It was the first of three 3,000th hits I was able to witness. I got a ticket from that game signed by Dave at Twinsfest years ago but he did not inscribe 3,000th hit. Tom O (orr23mj on SCN) had a private signing with Dave recently and I had another ticket from that game so I sent it in as well as a 09.16.2022 Topps Now card (incidentally commemorating Dave’s 3,000th hit) and a 2022 Allen & Ginter card. Today I received the items. The items were all signed great but Dave missed the inscription on the ticket.
