Today brought in a couple items from a recent private signing with Tommy John. \u00a0Tommy is one of those guys who is always mentioned as a borderline hall of famer and is most known as the first person to have “Tommy John Surgery” (duh!).<\/p>\n
The signing was conducted by Patrick M (crash on SCN) and he did a great job. \u00a0I got a baseball signed with a few stats on it as well as two 2000 Greats of the Game cards. \u00a0It is a fairly well known fact among SCN members that items sent to Tommy’s address are being ghost signed by his ex-wife. \u00a0I had a 2000 Greats of the Game card already signed in my collection and was unsure if it was Mr’s or ex-Mrs’s autograph. \u00a0With these that came in it looks exactly like the one I had so now I have three. \u00a0I would rather be safe than sorry in any autograph I have in my collection. \u00a0I got the extra to send to a friend of mine who is collecting this set so he will be surprised when he gets it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
