A while ago I had mailed a full ticket from Game 3 of the 1987 ALCS to Pat Sheridan as I saw he was signing via his office.  I never heard back.  I had one ticket left and saw that The Athlete Connection was having Pat as a signer at an upcoming show.  I quickly put together the package to mail my remaining ticket in with a Sharpie and the fee and asked for Pat to inscribe it with &#8220;Game Winning HR&#8221;.  Then the Coronavirus hit.  The show was cancelled but they still got together with Pat for a private signing event and got my ticket signed.  I did not realize they were going to have a signing with him.  I figured I would just wait to have him at the rescheduled show and get it signed then.<br>Game 3 was the only game the Tigers won in the 1987 ALCS.  I remember I was working as a land surveyor (my summer job in high school and college) and we had the truck stationed near us with the windows down and the radio playing the game.  I remember sneaking back to the truck as often as I could to get a full game update.  Sheridan hit the game winner off Jeff Reardon.
