Today I received one of my regular baseball boxes I send out with my writing on it and a note with 15 cents postage due. \u00a0I gladly paid the postage due and wondered who took so long to return a package. \u00a0Back on 2\/20\/2007 I sent two baseballs and $20 to Dan Gladden via the Metrodome. \u00a0I had not heard anything so I thought they were long gone. \u00a0I had asked him to write a story about Game 6 and his perspective of Puckett’s catch and home run and the other with Game 7 and what it was like scoring the winning run for the 1991 World Series. \u00a0While I did not get exactly what I requested, I did get one signed on the sweetspot with his name and number and the other was signed the same way and had a note on the bottom panel that said “To Kevin, Sorry it took so long!! \u00a0Best wishes”. \u00a0Unique that is for sure. \u00a0Oh, and if you are counting, that was exactly 2002 days from send to receipt. \u00a0By far my longest wait!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
