Today I attended an event I never thought in a million years I would go to. \u00a0The Wizard World Comic Con is in town and Charlie Sheen was appearing to sign autographs. \u00a0I was not going to go to this but had a 5″x7″ card that Topps put out a few years ago as part of their 25 Year Anniversary set for Major League. \u00a0I posted on SportsCollectors.net that I was looking for someone to get the card signed for me. \u00a0I received a message from Chriss P (bigpog on SCN) that Charlie was going to be in the Twin Cities and he had a couple Major League movie posters he needed signed and asked if he paid for my autograph and admission ticket and his two tickets if I would get them signed for him. \u00a0I had nothing planned today so I went. \u00a0I have to say that Charlie was one of the coolest people I have ever met in that situation. \u00a0He noticed I was a little nervous that I did not want things to get messed up and looked at me and smiled and said “Man, I don’t bite!”. \u00a0I explained I was a little excited and that Major League was one of my most favorite movies and he replied “Thank you! \u00a0That is very kind of you to say that.” \u00a0Once he was done he shook my hand and thanked me. \u00a0I really don’t drink but I bet he would be a blast to hang out with over a beer or two. \u00a0I am excited to add his signature to my baseball collection.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
