Win Twins!

Today I got an envelope with a few cards in it from my friend Jon S in Rochester, NY.  Jon has gotten me a ton of Twins cards in the past and I love what he sends me.

Today it was a 2014 Topps Oswaldo Arcia, 2014 Topps Heritage Oswaldo Arcia and a 2014 Josmil Pinto card all signed beautifully.  What was cool about the Pinto card is that it shows the players celebrating a Pinto walk off hit and in it is also Chris Colabello and Chris Herrmann who he got to signed the card too.  It looks phenomenal.  THANK YOU Jon!

What a Hamm!

Today I received a signed card of the VERY elusive Pete Hamm.  Brian F from ABC Unlimited had a private signing where Pete signed just a couple cards for him and he then contacted the Twins collectors to see if we wanted to purchase one.  I jumped at the opportunity as he is on tough autograph to get.  It is a 1972 Topps signed in beautiful blue fine point Sharpie.

Another envelope I received was some cards I traded for on SCN.  I received a message from Paul H (hartwick11 on SCN) that he needed a couple cards I had on my trader list for some sets he was working on.  He did not have any Twins cards I needed but decided to ask my friend Greg N (justgreg on SCN) who has gotten me numerous autographs in the past without asking for anything in return to check out his trader list to see if he needed any cards Paul had on his list.  Greg found a pair so I asked for those as well as a couple more to add to my trader list.  In all, I received the following cards from Paul:

Kids Day at the Ballpark

As I mentioned in the past, Sunday mornings the Twins have a special autograph signing event for kids and Cami HAS to go to every Sunday game I have tickets for specifically for that reason.  Today I was able to get a couple tickets to bring Caden and his friend down to the game with Cami and I.  We got there early enough and found out that Kyle Gibson and Logan Darnell were the two players signing today.  Cami got her baseball from last year signed by both players while Caden did not care about the autographs and got me a 2013 Topps Heritage high number card signed.  Caden’s friend Gabe got a ball he had signed.  He was pretty excited to try that for the first time.  We all had a blast watching the Twins beat the Orioles too!
